Why Did You Write It?
Hi, I’m Jack Asworth (not really, it’s a pen name), and I have been working with ALTs for close to two decades (yes really).
I started out as an ALT in the JET Program, continued on to recruit for a private Dispatch company, and now help ALTs of all stripes figure out what’s next for them.
Being an ALT was a life-changing experience for me, and I want to help other people have that same experience – and get the most out of it. In my day job, that means helping ALTs transition to other fields. As a hobby, it means this website and writing a book filled with naughty words and dick jokes to make the process of becoming an ALT a little more fun and approachable.
